Education
University of Massachusetts Amherst, Ph.D Math, 2nd year. Boston College, Math BA. Graduated with Mathematical honors
Experience
For the past year I have been working as a TA for calculus classes which involved leading discussion sections and holding office hours every week. I was selected as a finalist for a university wide teaching award. I want the chance to teach people about math in a one on one setting because there are so many topics that are deeply interesting, but due to the size of normal classes, they cannot be covered in regular classroom settings. I have participated in the annual William Lowell Putnam exam. It is a nation-wide collegiate mathematical competition. To prepare for the exam I worked with professors and students on the exam problems. I have done research with professors at Boston College and Rutgers, and I will start doing research this fall at UMass Amherst.

Hobbies
Most of my hobbies center around music or martial arts. I was lucky enough to find great groups of people everywhere I have lived that have built up my love for martial arts which I have been practicing for ten years. I am not the most gifted musician, but I play some piano and I love a wide range of music.
